Pruning
We do tree pruning with pride and consideration. All you have to do is tell us your wishes for your tree and we can get it looking spot on and a bonus – maintain its health. We also make sure that there are no dead, damaged or dangerous branches remaining while still making sure that it looks nice. We take this seriously as it’s important to get it right especially if it’s windy or the structure of the tree needs to be balanced.
Reductions
Many customers come to us to get tree reductions whether it be that it’s getting too big and spreading into your neighbour’s garden or blocking out sunlight. We can give guidance on what’s the best amount to reduce your tree with our knowledge on species of trees and also be flexible with what you want. We love tree pruning and reductions as we like to make trees look their best!
Hedge Trimming and shaping
With solid years behind us on hedge trimming we take pride in making sure we do perfect straight hedges, or if you fancy switching it up a bit we love getting creative with shaping, from orbs to touching on topiary (the art of trimming shrubs into ornamental shapes).
Tree removal
In some cases clients come to us with the need to remove a tree whether it be to make space for passion projects, garden revamps or just to get more sunlight in. There’s also the added benefit for reduced potential for damage to property in stormy weather. We safely remove the tree piece by piece in even the most awkward of places, we love a good challenge. Once your tree is removed we can take away the green waste for you and use a local biomass recycling center so you can rest easy knowing that we’ve disposed of it responsibly
Stump Grinding
Once a tree is felled and removed and you’ve now got beautiful sunlight shining through or a safe garden, you’ll be left with a tree stump, usually close to ground level. Some people don’t mind this whereas others would prefer to have it removed for aesthetics.
MT-Trees offers a competitive tree stump removal service, using a wide range of stump grinders ensuring we are able to remove anything from a stubborn small stump to the most challenging stumps from all areas of your garden. We chose stump grinders to tackle these jobs as it’s efficient and also doesn’t involve removing the stump with harsh chemicals. We take care in making sure that when we are finished removing the stump your garden is left clean and tidy – total satisfaction in our services is the core part of our ethos.
Another thing to bear in mind is that although some may not be too unsightly it can cause problems in the future. Most tree stumps end up rotting or getting root diseases and fungi such as honey fungus. We understand this can be a worry when you have children or adventurous pets. One more thing that can occur is Suckering – this is when shoots grow from the stump if it is still alive. The last thing you want to see after all that hard work!
